Planning with Courage.

Courage has been a reoccurring theme throughout my career. In my Mi’kmaq culture, the bear represents courage. Just like the bear, courage is my strength. In my case it’s the courage to bring my full self into my work. Sometimes this looks like my queer identity informing how to incorporate inclusive language, or my experience growing up in low income neighbourhoods informing ways to engage with people outside of traditional open houses. I have found courage is an important part of what I bring to Planning. Courage allows me to bring my unique perspective to my practice and advocate for equity and inclusion in the profession. No matter the project, you can expect I will plan with courage.

What I Do.

As a planning consultant I provide a range of planning services including community engagement, public speaking, social planning, subdivisions, policy investigation, redistricting or rezoning, land use planning, and statutory plan and bylaw amendments.
